Questions

What happens after my free trial?
You get 14 days of Clinician with no credit card required. Afterward, continue on free Starter or choose to upgrade. Starter includes 10 active students for AI notes and recording, with 2 active-student swaps each calendar month. Other students remain available for viewing, editing and manual logging. Nothing is deleted.
How is student data handled?
Clinical records are access-controlled within your workspace. LumaLayer offers de-identification and synthetic modes, and you review generated drafts before sharing. Read our Security and Privacy pages for details on processing, storage and retention.
Does recording require student consent?
Your organization is responsible for obtaining the consents required for recording and AI transcription. The consent ledger tracks those permissions, but missing recording or transcription consent does not currently block a session. Family sharing requires the applicable disclosure consent.
Which practice settings does LumaLayer serve?
LumaLayer is built for speech-language pathologists in schools, home health, outpatient care, private practice and early intervention.
