Welcome to the LumaLayer community
This is the home base for clinicians using LumaLayer: how-to guides, straight answers, a printable training guide, and a members-only forum where school and pediatric SLPs compare notes on caseload workflow. Everything here except the forum is open. No sign-in needed.

Most clinicians see the whole product in about half an hour.
Set up your caseload
Add a few students and import one IEP. Goals, objectives, and service minutes come across as structured records you can edit.
Run one session end to end
Pick the goals you worked on, capture trials, and let the draft SOAP note, progress note, and family summary come back for your review.
Approve and share
Nothing is final until you approve it. Approved notes lock, and family summaries are shared through the secure parent portal, never by email.
Community ground rules
- Never post student names, dates of birth, districts, addresses, or anything else that could identify a child or family.
- Describe cases generically: “a third grader working on /r/” is plenty of context.
- Be useful and kind. Everyone here is carrying a full caseload.
- Product bugs and urgent issues belong in feedback or email, where we can act on them.
